These apron chaps from STIHL are made from rugged, 400-denier nylon.

FUNCTION apron chaps with six layers of protection from STIHL are made from rugged, 400-denier nylon and feature the same UL® classified protection as our other chaps. Just snap them over your pants and you’re ready to go. Sewn into the legs of the chaps are six layers of Avertic® Pro by Engtex®, a cut-retardant material designed to clog the sprocket and stop the saw chain on a gasoline-powered chainsaw in case of accidental contact with the rotating saw chain. The open-back design of these chaps makes them a great choice for hot working conditions.

    Features:

    • UL Classified - This garment has been Classified by UL® (Underwriter Laboratories Inc.) as chainsaw cut-resistant leg protection for all Operators of Gas Powered Chainsaws by using ASTM (American Society of Testing & Materials) F1414 Test Method and ASTM F1897 performance standard. See complete marking on the product.
    • Woodcutter - The Woodcutter Protective Apparel is perfect for paired use with any of your Homeowner STIHL units. While designed for the occasional user, it still meets and beats the standards required for personal protective apparel.

    Warnings and Safety

Proposition 65 Warning: Cancer and Reproductive Harm
WARNING FOR CORDED ELECTRIC AND BATTERY CHAINSAW USERS! The fibers may not stop the sprocket on most corded electric chainsaws and some battery-powered chainsaws because of the constant high torque. However, to reduce the severity of injury from accidental contact with the chain, STIHL recommends that leg protection be worn when operating these types of chainsaws.

WARNING! Improper use of any power tool may cause serious or fatal injury. Read, understand, and follow carefully the operating and safety instructions in your instruction manual before using such products.
