I had already put one of these wood catchers on my Speeco (Tractor Supply) 22 ton wood splitter right after I bought the splitter several years ago. I love the wood catcher and cannot imagine using my splitter without it. However, sometimes a piece of wood would fall off the front of the catcher onto the motor that powers the splitter. So I got the bright idea to add another one to protect the motor. I had to do some drilling and tapping to add the second one, but it just did fit and now my motor is protected. To put fuel in the motor I just raise the splitter into the vertical position. The wood splitter comes drilled and tapped for the first catcher, but the second one makes it even better. Also, I felt damn lucky to find this wood catcher at Foards because they are getting hard to find.
