All good it didn’t fit my mower. Hoping for a refund

Directions are easy to follow. However on the initial setting of the mat placement being one inch below the deck, it was tearing up the grass while mowing at a height of 2 inches. I made the adjustment of moving the outside metal plate up which was supposed to make the rubber striper less rigid. It still was tearing the grass mowing 2 inches or lower. At a higher setting of 2.5 or more it did not tear up the grass. I may try replacing the rubber strip with something more plyable to see if that makes a difference.

I recently switched to the Hustler Raptor zero turn from a Simplicity tractor mower. Was not sure how this strip kit would compare to the roller style on my tractor. I am satisfied. Easy install, yard looks great. I still have the best yard in the neighborhood!!!
