Well it fit like a glove..except. when it came to inserting the 6/10mm bolts, found out they would not fit. At first I thought the 6 holes in the "skirts" were threaded. Nope,no threads, closer examination reveled that,... turns out the holes were 8mm(+)but no way the part listed 10mm bolts could be inserted and threaded into the lower base plate. It would seem while the PARTS chapter in the User manual indicated a change form 2015 RAM caps and 2016 and forward Caps, ,no indication that earlier Ram caps had 8mm holes, not 10mm. Solution:
drill out the 8mm holes to a tad over 10MM. Worked, but don't know for how long.
