The arm rests work fine for the most part. I am a big guy so the rests almost touch my ribs but they will do the job. My one star reduction is for the install. You have to screw metal inserts into the seat to bolt on the arm rests. The plastic is very hard and it is not easy to get the inserts to bite. It took all my weight leaning on them and an hour of time to get all 6 inserts in.

installed on my new Dash XD. needed them to rest arms on since the travel of the speed levers are longer than most other Zero turn mowers. Easy to install and works great. Came with necessary tools to install.
